Domestic scheduling is open for appointments from July 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027. International appointments begin September 1, 2026. Testing is unavailable during the March-April annual update period.
Fees and retakes
The appointment fee is $317 per part and is paid when scheduling. The IRS says the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. A candidate may attempt each part up to four times in a testing window.

Create a PSI profile before scheduling. Save the confirmation number and review the appointment email immediately for the correct date, time, location, and exam part.
